How Saiberlab collects, uses and protects the personal information you share with us.

Saiberlab is a web design and development studio. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or work with us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Information you give us. When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, company name if you provide one, and the content of your message.
When you use the estimate calculator we collect the answers you select, together with the contact and billing details you enter: your name, business name, email address, telephone number, existing website, billing address, city, province, postal code and country, your preferred contact method, any completion date you indicate, and anything you write in the project description or inspiration links fields. If you attach a file to your request, we receive that file too.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server records standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. This is used to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
If you accept a quote through the link we send you, we record the date, time and IP address of that acceptance as our record that the quote was agreed.
We use the information you send us to prepare your estimate, respond to your enquiry, produce a quote or invoice, deliver work you have commissioned, and keep in touch about your project.
An estimate produced by the calculator is worked out from the options you select and the prices published on this site. A person reviews every request before we send you a quote — nothing is priced, accepted or rejected automatically.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some preferences may not be remembered.
The estimate calculator saves your answers in your own browser so you can return to a part-finished estimate. That copy stays on your device, and clearing it is as simple as pressing Clear on the calculator.
We share personal information only with the service providers we rely on to run our business — for example our website host and email provider — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.
We do not take card payments on this website. Invoices are settled directly with us, so no card details are ever entered here or stored by us.
Estimate requests and enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Records relating to active or completed client work — including quotes, invoices and payment records — are kept for as long as we need them for the project and for the period required by tax and accounting rules.
Ask us to delete your information sooner and we will, except where we are required to keep a billing record.
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to how we are using it. Email hello@saiberlab.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Depending on where you live you may also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator.
We use encrypted connections, keep our software up to date and limit who can access client information. Quotes and invoices shared with you are reached through a private link containing a random token rather than a guessable web address, and files you upload are stored outside the public part of the website.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you send us.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated directly where we hold contact details for you.
